Student Leaders
Prefects are chosen from amongst the Sixth Form to be the leaders and advocates of the pupil body in the College.
The role of prefect is one of leadership, making the College a better, fairer, happier place than it already is. Leadership is, after all, making good things happen.
Prefects have a particular mandate in upholding and promoting the Catholic ethos of the College. Theirs is a role of service to the community, modelled upon Christ, who “did not come to be served but to serve.” (Mark:10 v45)
Prefects must set a good example in terms of attitudes, words and actions, which promotes the dignity of all members of the College, and the good name of the College itself.
